Aaron Poole is a Toronto actor through and through – with a Canadian Academy Award nomination equivalent to his name (This Beautiful City, 2007). Poole’s latest film – which he also produced – is a growing cult-hit called The Conspiracy. It’s an indie All The President’s Men meets Kill List. But that’s not all. The single, father of one, has got four feature films coming out in the next year, including Atom Egoyan’s Queen of The Night. When we sat down with him he was on his way to shoot a new Western called Forsaken starring Demi Moore and Donald Sutherland. The surge of recent success might turn this Canadian slow-burn into an international overnight-success. And he’s ready for the leap.
We sat down to talk about fear, Facebook and the myth of male mochismo.
